Marine fungi are part of the marine microbiome with crucial ecological, environmental and evolutionary importance. As exemplified by life-saving antibiotics in the market or anticancer drug candidates undergoing clinical trials, they also are outstanding renewable sources for new bioactive natural products with many application potential e.g. in health, agriculture, food and cosmetics. However, their real potential in many areas have largely remained untapped.
The Marine Natural Products Team, which is part of the Institute of Chemistry of Nice at the University Côte d’Azur (France), and the CatalyMar – Biogenouest consortium, cordially invite you to the 3rd International Conference of the Marine Fungal Natural Products (MaFNaP) that will be held virtually from 19-22 July 2021. This event aims at gathering an international consortium to discuss new developments and approaches within the field of marine fungal research.
